Ways to Give
Tearmann Society for Abused Women provides innovative programs and community partnerships for women, youth and children experiencing family and gender-based violence in Pictou, Antigonish and Guysborough counties.
A big part of what we do is Tearmann House. Tearmann House is an emergency 15-bed shelter in Pictou County, that offers support, information, understanding and practical assistance to abused women and their children. In addition to the emergency shelter, Tearmann Society provides a range of supports and services to women and children including follow up supports, outreach and advocacy.
Tearmann relies on the continued support of our donors and our community.
Monetary donations are of course accepted by Tearmann Society, and are greatly appreciated.
