Many women benefit from the Advocacy Services of Tearmann Society. some of the areas we can advocate on behalf of women include:

  • Family Court
  • Provincial Court
  • Justice of the Peace Center
  • Medical Professionals
  • Police
  • Lawyers
  • Other community agencies

 

Advocacy can occur in many forms including:

  • phone calls
  • letters
  • court accompaniment
  • attend lawyers appointments
  • navigating court processes
  • assist with completing paperwork
  • accompaniment to Income Assistance appointments
  • case conferences
  • assist with information sessions at partnering agencies
