Many women benefit from the Advocacy Services of Tearmann Society. some of the areas we can advocate on behalf of women include:

- Eastern Mainland Housing
- Family Court
- Provincial Court
- Justice of the Peace Center
- Medical Professionals
- Police
- Lawyers
- Other community agencies
Advocacy can occur in many forms including:
- phone calls
- letters
- court accompaniment
- attend lawyers appointments
- navigating court processes
- assist with completing paperwork
- accompaniment to Income Assistance appointments
- case conferences
- assist with information sessions at partnering agencies
